Abstract
Wernicke's encephalopathy is a medical emergency that can be fatal if not diagnosed and treated early. Malnutrition is a condition that can be seen frequently, especially in psychiatric diseases such as schizophrenia. In this case, we examined a patient who presented with Wenicke's encephalopathy and was diagnosed with schizophrenia when treated.
